The focus of the Regional Enterprise Division is on economic development – process, projects, events and initiatives that support entrepreneurship development; business retention, expansion and creation; innovation and technology commercialization.
The division's services are delivered through Regional Offices located in Estevan, Moose Jaw, North Battleford, Prince Albert, Swift Current and Yorkton.
Regional offices will lead and/or partner for the delivery of services and activities in these priority areas:
Entrepreneurship / Youth Engagement is encouraged through a variety of initiatives, including working with educational institutions, organizations and associations to improve knowledge about enterprise options.
The division also partners with regional leaders to support and strengthen economic development by providing funding to the province's 13 Enterprise Regions (ERs). The ERs assist their region to increase its business and industry competitiveness.
