The spirit of Saskatchewan runs deep. If you grew up in the province, you were born with it. If you have visited Saskatchewan, you can sense it. We're proud of this province, and the Saskatchewan Ambassadors Program allows us to tell the world.
Launched in 1998, the Saskatchewan Business Ambassadors Program was expanded in 2003 to include Saskatchewan expatriates and friends and renamed the Saskatchewan Ambassadors Program. Because of their pride in the province, Saskatchewan people are the best ambassadors to raise awareness of all the province has to offer. The program provides volunteer ambassadors with promotional tools to share their Saskatchewan pride with business contacts, friends, and family.
The program is designed to promote a positive image of Saskatchewan as a place to live, work, do business and visit. Anyone can become an Ambassador - business people, educators, activists, artists and entertainers, community leaders, and students are all welcome!
To help share the story of our success, Ambassadors receive a promotional kit which includes print information on the economy, key sectors, and our quality of life, a wallet-sized CD containing a video and electronic files of promotional materials, tourism information, and forms to request more information. A quarterly e-zine, Saskatchewan Connections, is available so Ambassadors can stay up-to-date on Saskatchewan news. With the help of these tools, Ambassadors can spread the good news about Saskatchewan at meetings, conferences, trade shows, and other events.
If you are interested in becoming a Saskatchewan Ambassador, wish to subscribe to the e-zine, or want to find out more about the program, visit the Saskatchewan Ambassadors website by following the link below or call us toll-free at 1-800-597-5796.
