In January 2008, the federal government announced the $1-billion Community Development Trust Fund intended to help support activities that strengthen economic opportunities for communities negatively affected by global financial and commodity market disruption.
Saskatchewan's share of the this fund is $36.4 million over three years. The Government of Saskatchewan needs community input on how these funds can be directed to best serve the needs of distressed communities.
The deadline for 2010 infrastructure applications is May 14, 2010.

News Release - January 8, 2010 - 2010 CDTF Funding Now Available
The government is calling on Saskatchewan communities that were adversely affected by the economic downturn to apply for funding from the Community Development Trust Fund (CDTF) for economic revitalization projects.

Enterprise Saskatchewan Minister Jeremy Harrison today announced the appointment of Chris Dekker to the position of CEO of Enterprise Saskatchewan.
